SUNDAY SB RULES and POLICY

BATTING - you can bat 3 males in a row ONCE...2 males in a row as often as you want...includes bottom to top. You can have designated female spots and can rotate them in order, in the female spots.

***NEW RULE -  ONLY FOR REGULAR SEASON......NO MORE INTENTIONAL WALKS  (if the male, preceding a female), walks on 4 and 0, SHE HAS TO HIT.

DON'T TOUCH HOME - For safety, to score a run, you must pass the imaginary line from home plate to the fence. It is a force at home, so if you pass the line before the catcher catches the ball with their foot or ball on home plate, you are safe, if not you are out. If the catcher tags you..you are safe. If you, the runner touches home plate, you are out. If you do not reach the commitment line, you can go back to 3rd base..if you do pass the commitment line, you must keep going forward.

COUNT -  0-0 count, no courtesy foul. Foul with 2 strikes is an out.

HR RULE - 2 progressive, if you are 2 up and hit another...it is a single, one base advance. YOU MUST RETRIEVE AND REPLACE THE BALL IMMEDIATELY

SOFTBALLS - The league will provide the 12" and 11" game balls....the visiting team must supply backup game balls. They must be good. Teams, must replace all lost balls immediately. Team that supplied ball can take back your softballs, after the game.

COACHES MEETING AT HOME PLATE - There will be a quick coaches meeting at Home Plate. Decide HOME team before or during coaches meet

INNINGS - No new inning after 1 hour 5 minutes..flip flop if the VISITOR is winning...BY 5 RUNS OR MORE and up to bat in the last inning.....if home team is winning and AB after one hour or more, game over

NOTE -  NO GAME WILL BE STOPPED DURING AN INNING, UNLESS SOMEONE WINS THE GAME (DURING THE INNING)

NO 12 RUN RULE

ADDING LATE PLAYERS - You can add a late player to the lineup at the bottom, if you keep by the batting rules...and if you have NOT gone thru your lineup once.

UMPS should announce start time so that there is no misunderstanding on the one hour 5 min.

VISITING team supplies back up balls by game start

DEFENSE -

Must have a consistent pitcher....a pitcher that keeps walking people basically stops the game and stops the fun

No warmups between innings

Can only have 7 males max, in the field

NOTE FROM YOUR COMMISH -

Please bring a good attitude to the games

Please do not INDULGE too much

Please be early to your games and rsvp to your coach timely..they are doing the work for you

Please make sure all players and fans abide by protocols

Do NOT disrespect our umps, the other players, etc

RAIN OUT POLICY -

1st rain out.....games made up

2nd rain out ...game made up

3rd rain out...not made up, not refunded

 (unless teams agree to play extra games in a day)

4th, etc rain out..not made up, refunded

As owner of the league, you can be permanently asked not to come back for any non-discriminatory reason if you violate the mission of this co-ed softball league.

By joining a team at any time, makes you in agreeance with this.

Anyone suspended from the league CANNOT be on the premises while are rental times are in tact

We are all happy to play ball and keep our perks....please be on the "same team" as the league so we can keep this going!!
